Once again I would like to thank everyone personally for trying out for the Senior National Cheer Squad. Selection was made even harder this year  because of not only the rule changes for Worlds 2008 (limiting the squad number to 24), but especially because the talent really impressed everyone at these auditions. It was obvious to everyone there those who had worked especially hard in learning Linwood's tryout routine. I would also like to take this opportunity to tell everyone who did not make the squad this year, not to give up on your dream of representing Scotland at Worlds, but come back a better, stronger and fitter cheerleader. Anyone who did not make the squad this year I would like to contact me so I can personally give you some pointers / feedback on your audition which will hopefully help you in future years. steve.scotcheer@btinternet.com  wishing you every success in your Cheer career. 2nd Audition Information

Our tryout judges Linwood Nixon and Rossi Mills have both given us their recommendation on who should be in the team based on the first auditions held at Dundee on Monday. We have decided after discussion to have a recall for everyone who tried out for the 2008 Senior National Cheer squad.

We hope that this time will be used wisely as the 2nd audition will include the following criteria:

• the tryout routine that Linwood taught to you.

• a review of all your tumbling skills

• stunt skills

• flyer skills

• jumps
