SCOTCHEER CHAMPIONSHIP LATEST NEWS 2008 |
All age Divisions have been tied in with the USASF Worlds. ** Team Divisions ONLY **
For the whole 2007/8 competing season your cheerleaders ages are assessed as per their exact age on the 31st May 2007. This means that you can compete with the same squads at both Scotcheer 2 & The Nationals.
ALL Speciality
Divisions at Nationals 2008 ; cheerleaders will still be assessed on
their exact age on the day (ie) Friday 4th April 2008.
Update 2: Rules Changes (7th November 2007)
CHEER ONLY - In line with the IASF/USASF policy and for safety reasons at least one cheer coach per competing squad MUST be credentialed to the level your squad are competing. Please contact the Scotcheer Office for details of the next Coaches Credentialing Courses available in Scotland.
The squad who attain the highest marks (in the top
divisions available) will be crowned National Champions and receive a Champions
banner. (ie) In Cheer - Peewee Level 2 / Youth
Level 3 / Junior All-Girl Level 5 / Senior All-Girl Level 5 / Junior Co-Ed Level
5 / Senior Co-Ed Level 6.
(ie) In Dance - Peewee Hip-Hop / Peewee Cheer Dance
/ Peewee Open Dance / Junior Hip-Hop / Junior Cheer Dance / Junior Open Dance
etc.
You can now compete in All Dance Divisions as long as all crossover / double duty fees are paid.
Speciality Division News - Individuals will only have Allstar Divisions (ie) Non-tumbling Divisions have been scrapped.
New Hip Hop Dance Division to be added to the running order. Score form and rules will be uploaded with the Information Pack early December.
All Cheer Divisions with over eight teams will be
split into a Large and a Small Squad Category.
