AWARDS FOR 2007

We understand how much effort all Coaches and Cheerleaders put into the routines that are brought to our competition each year. For this reason Scotcheer always awards trophies that every squad would be extremely proud to win. Once again Scotcheer will be engraving every single trophy we present with that Squad or Individuals name prior to each award ceremony. This new feature, that we instigated at the 2005 Scotcheer Nationals and European has been widely regarded as a first for any Cheer & Dance Championship anywhere in the world. The reason we do all this is simple. We care about each and every squad that support our Championships. We want to make every little thing as special as we possibly can, and want to make your time at Scotcheer not only as enjoyable, but as memorable as possible.

Not only do we award every single Cheer squad competing a trophy, we also give the vast majority of Dance teams one as well, giving awards right up to the 10th placed team. In individuals we will again be awarding the top 10 Cheerleaders in each division a trophy and we are giving the top 5 stunt groups in each division one too! Add this to our new for 2007 category of Dance Duos where every duo entering will be ranked up to 8th place we had better start building them now!

over 60 Banners will be presented at the 2007 Scotcheer Championship weekend

CHAMPIONS BANNERS

Scotcheer awards a Champions Banner to every single 1st Placed Squad or Individual.  These banners have proved very popular since their introduction at the 2004 Nationals.

They are presented to the winners of every division competed for at Dundee. The Scotcheer Scottish Nationals, Scotcheer European and the Scotcheer Open Divisions all have their own unique banners. Ultimately for the coaches of each winning squad as a memento of their squads achievements.

AWARD PRESENTATIONS

At Scotcheer all award winners are made to feel very special indeed. Our American Master of Ceremony Mr Link Franzini announces every award winning squad to come onto the stage. Unlike most other competitions the whole squad is encouraged to come and be presented with the Trophy. Award winners are also  photographed with their trophies and the Champions with their banners on the stage at this time. There are two award ceremonies on both Saturday the 31st March and Sunday the 1st April. The Cheer squad awards are given out at lunch time on each day allowing squad photographs to be taken in squads cheer uniforms. Dance awards are presented at the end of each competition day. We are expecting well in excess of 450 trophies to be awarded in the three competition days at Scotcheer in 2007!
